This shooting start inspired pendant features a beautiful clear piece of Baltic Amber and a wonderfully shaped piece of the Campo del Cielo Meteorite. Baltic Amber is estimated to be 34-38 million years old and is found on the southern shores of the Baltic sea. The Campo del Cielo Meteorite originated within the Asteroid belt located between Mars and Jupiter, and probably formed around the same time as the earth some 4.5 Billion years ago! Read that again! 4.5 BILLION years ago. It is estimated that it hit earth around 4 to 5 thousand years ago.
I have Paired these stones as an ode to the space rocks that swirled around the universe and our own planets vegetation that graced it so many millions of years ago. The best of both worlds!
